I was searching for something truly special to give my sisters as a way to remember our beloved sister, who passed away from cancer on May 27, 2025. She had a deep love for soft pink tones, and I wanted something meaningful in that color to honor her memory. Despite looking everywhere, nothing felt quite right—until I attended the Fishhawk Shopping Bazaar.
While browsing, a bracelet at a neighboring stand caught my eye. Something about it drew me in, and the moment I touched it, I felt it—this was the one. The bracelet, called "Embrace Joy Every Day," felt like it was made for this moment. I sent a photo to my family and got the blessing to move forward.
I returned to the booth and met Daimar, the kind-hearted and incredibly talented small business owner behind Akuaviva Jewelry. I explained I needed nine bracelets—one for each sister and our late sister’s daughter. I wanted to ensure I had them before my flight and even though my flight was the very next day, Daimar went above and beyond to ensure they were all made, packaged beautifully, and ready for pick-up in time.
